✧ Who brought life to a dead land that belonged to no one?

أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ أَحْيَا أَرْضًا مَيِّتَةً لَيْسَتْ لِأَحَدٍ فَهُوَ أَحَقُّ بِهَا» خَالَفَهُ حَيْوَةُ بْنُ شُرَيْحٍ

✧ From the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, he said: "Whoever brings life to a dead land that belonged to no one, he has more right to it." Haywah b. Shurayh differed from him.
