أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ وَهُوَ ابْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ رَأَى عَلَى عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَثَرَ صُفْرَةٍ فَقَالَ «مَا هَذَا؟» قَالَ تَزَوَّجْتُ امْرَأَةً عَلَى وَزْنِ نَوَاةٍ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ فَقَالَ «بَارَكَ اللهُ لَكَ أَوْلِمْ وَلَوْ بِشَاةٍ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw a trace of yellow on Abd al-Rahman and said: “What is this?” He said: “I married a woman for the weight of a date-stone of gold.” He said: “May Allah bless you. Hold a walima, even with a sheep.”
