✧ Blowing in Prayer

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ السَّائِبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ

«انْكَسَفَتِ الشَّمْسُ يَوْمَ مَاتَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ فَصَلَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ رَكْعَتَيْنِ فَجَعَلَ يَتَقَدَّمُ وَيَنْفُخُ وَيَتَأَخَّرُ وَيَتَقَدَّمُ وَيَنْفُخُ وَيَتَأَخَّرُ فَانْصَرَفَ حِينَ انْصَرَفَ وَقَدْ تَجَلَّتْ»

Translation

✧ “The sun was eclipsed on the day Ibrahim died, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed two rak'ahs. He began to move forward and blow, and move back, and move forward and blow, and move back. He finished when he finished, and the sun had already become clear.”
