✧ The marriage that allows the divorced woman three times for her ex-husband.

أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ رَاهَوَيْهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

جَاءَتِ امْرَأَةُ رِفَاعَةَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَتْ إِنَّ رِفَاعَةَ طَلَّقَنِي فَأَبَتَّ طَلَاقِي وَإِنِّي تَزَوَّجْتُ بَعْدَهُ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ وَمَا مَعَهُ إِلَّا مِثْلُ هُدْبَةِ الثَّوْبِ فَضَحِكَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَقَالَ «أَتُرِيدِينَ أَنْ تَرْجِعِي إِلَى رِفَاعَةَ لَا حَتَّى يَذُوقَ عُسَيْلَتَكِ وَتَذُوقِي عُسَيْلَتَهُ»

✧ The wife of Rifa'ah came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said: 'Rifa'ah divorced me and made my divorce final. After him I married 'Abd al-Rahman b. al-Zubayr, but with him it is only like the fringe of a garment.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ laughed and said: 'Do you want to return to Rifa'ah? No, not until he tastes your sweetness and you taste his sweetness.'
