✧ The Prohibition of Breastfeeding and the Mention of the Disagreement in the Narrations of Aisha

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الصَّمَدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنٌ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مَكْحُولٌ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

«لَيْسَ بِالْمَصَّةِ وَالْمَصَّتَانِ بَأْسٌ إِنَّمَا الرَّضَاعُ مَا فَتَقَ الْأَمْعَاءَ» خَالَفَهُ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ

Translation

✧ "There is no harm in a single suckling or two sucklings; breastfeeding only makes marriage unlawful when it fills the intestines." Muhammad b. Ishaq disagreed with him.
