✧ Prophet's ﷺ Marriage and what Allah, the Glorious, has made permissible for His Prophet ﷺ and forbidden for His creation, as an increase in His honor and a clarification of His excellence.

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ سَيْفٍ الْحَرَّانِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ قَالَ

حَضَرْنَا مَعَ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ جِنَازَةَ مَيْمُونَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ بِسَرِفَ فَقَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ هَذِهِ مَيْمُونَةُ إِذَا رَفَعْتُمْ جِنَازَتَهَا فَلَا تُزَعْزِعُوهَا وَلَا تُزَلْزِلُوهَا فَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «كَانَ مَعَهُ تِسْعُ نِسْوَةٍ فَكَانَ يَقْسِمُ لِثَمَانٍ وَوَاحِدَةٌ لَمْ يَكُنْ يَقْسِمُ لَهَا»

✧ We attended with Ibn 'Abbas the funeral of Maymunah, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ, at Sarif. Ibn 'Abbas said: "This is Maymunah. When you lift her bier, do not shake it or jolt it, for the Messenger of God ﷺ had nine wives with him; he used to divide his time among eight, and one he did not apportion to."
