✧ The ruling on someone who drinks alcohol consecutively

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الرَّقَاشِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ الثَّقَفِيِّ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الشَّرِيدِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِذَا شَرِبَ الْخَمْرَ فَاجْلِدُوهُ ثُمَّ إِنْ شَرِبَ فَاجْلِدُوهُ ثُمَّ إِنْ شَرِبَ فَاجْلِدُوهُ ثُمَّ إِنْ شَرِبَ فَاقْتُلُوهُ»

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "If he drinks wine, flog him; then if he drinks, flog him; then if he drinks, flog him; then if he drinks, kill him."
