أَخْبَرَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْهَيْثَمِ الْأَيْلِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي خَالِدُ بْنُ نِزَارٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ مَبْرُورٍ عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ قَالَ ابْنُ شِهَابٍ أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَيْرِيزٍ الْقُرَشِيُّ أَنَّ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ
أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ بَيْنَا هُوَ جَالِسٌ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّا نُصِيبُ سَبَايَا وَنُحِبُّ الْأَثْمَانَ فَكَيْفَ تَرَى فِي الْعَزْلِ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أَوَ إِنَّكُمْ لَتَفْعَلُونَ ذَلِكَ؟ لَا عَلَيْكُمْ أَلَّا تَفْعَلُوا فَإِنَّهَا لَيْسَتْ نَسَمَةٌ كُتِبَتْ أَنْ تَخْرُجَ إِلَّا وَهِيَ خَارِجَةٌ»

✧ He informed him that while he was sitting with the Messenger of God ﷺ, a man from the Anṣār said: O Messenger of God, we acquire captives and we love the price, so what do you think about coitus interruptus? The Messenger of God ﷺ said: “Do you indeed do that? You would do no harm not to do it, for it is not a soul that has been decreed to come forth except that it will come forth.”
