أَخْبَرَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْمَكِّيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرًا يَقُولُ «كُنَّا نَبِيعُ سَرَارِيَّنَا أُمَّهَاتِ الْأَوْلَادِ وَالنَّبِيُّ ﷺ حَيٌّ مَا نَرَى بِذَلِكَ بَأْسًا»

Translation

✧ He heard Jābir say: “We used to sell our slave-women who had borne children while the Prophet ﷺ was alive, and we did not consider that a problem.”
