أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَمِّي قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي عَنْ صَالِحٍ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ فِي حَدِيثِ نَبْهَانَ قَالَتْ

أُمُّ سَلَمَةَ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «إِذَا كَانَ عِنْدَ الْمُكَاتَبِ مَا يَقْضِي عَنْهُ فَاحْتَجِبْنَ عَنْهُ»

Translation

✧ Umm Salamah: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "When the mukātab has enough to pay off [his kitāba], then veil yourselves from him."
