أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هِشَامٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «يُؤَدِّي الْمُكَاتَبُ بِقَدْرِ مَا أَدَّى» [52] 5004 أَخْبَرَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ مِثْلَهُ وَلَمْ يَرْفَعْهُ

Translation

✧ From the Prophet ﷺ: "The mukatab pays according to what he has paid." [52] 5004 Zakariyya b. Yahya informed us; he said: Ishaq narrated to us; he said: Ismail b. Ulayyah narrated to us from Ayyub from Ikrimah from Ali the like of it, and he did not trace it back to the Prophet.
