أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ حَصِينٍ عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ يَسَافٍ قَالَ كُنَّا نَبِيعُ الْبَزَّ فِي دَارِ سُوَيْدِ بْنِ مُقَرِّنٍ فَخَرَجَتْ جَارِيَةٌ فَقَالَتْ لِرَجُلٍ مِنَّا كَلِمَةً فَلَطَمَهَا فَغَضِبَ سُوَيْدٌ فَقَالَ

لَطَمْتَ وَجْهَهَا؟ ‍ لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُنِي سَابِعَ سَبْعَةٍ مِنْ إِخْوَتِي مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ مَا لَنَا مِنْ خَادِمٍ إِلَّا وَاحِدَةً فَلَطَمَهَا أَحَدُنَا «فَأَمَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَأَعْتَقْنَاهَا»

✧ You slapped her face? I saw myself as the seventh of seven of my brothers with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and we had no servant except one. One of us slapped her, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded us, so we freed her.
