أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو عَارِمٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الْمَلِيحِ أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَعْتَقَ شَقِيصًا مِنْ مَمْلُوكٍ فَقَالَ

رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أُعْتِقَ مِنْ مَالِهِ إِنْ كَانَ لَهُ وَقَالَ وَلَيْسَ لِلَّهِ شَرِيكٌ

Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. Muḥammad b. al-Muthanná
  2. Abū ʿĀrim
  3. Hishām
  4. Qatādah
  5. Abū al-Malīḥ
  6. a man Aʿtaq Shaqīṣ from Mamlūk

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "He is freed from his wealth if he has it," and he said: "And Allah has no partner."
