al-Sunan al-Kubra (al-Nasa'i) 4923

✧ servant comes between two people, and one of them will free him, and the narrators differ in reporting the news of Abdullah b. Umar in that matter.

أَخْبَرَنَا نُوحُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ أَعْتَقَ شِرْكًا لَهُ فِي عَبْدٍ أَتَمَّ مَا بَقِيَ فِي مَالِهِ إِذَا كَانَ لَهُ مَالٌ يَبْلُغُ ثَمَنَ الْعَبْدِ»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever frees a share he has in a slave completes the remainder from his wealth if he has wealth that reaches the price of the slave.”
