أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ حَدِيثِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ عَنْ شَرِيكٍ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ
عَنِ الْهِلَالِيَّةِ الَّتِي كَانَتْ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَنَّهَا كَانَتْ لَهَا جَارِيَةٌ سَوْدَاءُ فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنِّي أَرَدْتُ أَنْ أُعْتِقَ هَذِهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أَفَلَا تَفْدِينَ بِهَا بِنْتَ أَخِيكِ أَوْ بِنْتَ أُخْتِكِ مِنْ رِعَايَةِ الْغَنَمِ؟»

✧ From the Hilaliyyah woman who was with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ: She had a black slave girl and said: "O Messenger of Allah, I wanted to manumit this one." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Will you not ransom with her the daughter of your brother or the daughter of your sister from tending sheep?"
