أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ الْمُقْرِئُ الْمَكِّيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَبِي عَبْلَةَ عَنِ الْغَرِيفِ بْنِ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ وَاثِلَةَ بْنِ الْأَسْقَعِ قَالَ

أَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ نَفَرٌ مِنْ بَنِي سُلَيْمٍ فَقَالُوا إِنَّ صَاحِبًا لَنَا قَدْ أَوْجَبَ قَالَ «فَلْيُعْتِقْ رَقَبَةً يَفُكُّ اللهُ بِكُلِّ عُضْوٍ مِنْهَا عُضْوًا مِنْهُ مِنَ النَّارِ»

✧ A group from Banu Sulaym came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: A companion of ours has made [the Fire] obligatory. He said: "Let him free a slave; Allah will free from the Fire for every limb of it a limb of him."
