أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ قَالَ وَحَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُفَضَّلٌ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ عَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ مُرَّةَ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «أَيُّمَا امْرِئٍ مُسْلِمٍ أَعْتَقَ امْرَأً مُسْلِمًا فَهُوَ فِكَاكُهُ مِنَ النَّارِ عَظْمٌ بِعَظْمٍ وَأَيُّمَا امْرِئٍ مُسْلِمٍ أَعْتَقَ امْرَأَتَيْنِ مُسْلِمَتَيْنِ فَهُوَ فِكَاكُهُ مِنَ النَّارِ عَظْمَتَيْنِ مِنْهَا بِعَظْمٍ وَأَيُّمَا امْرَأَةٍ مَسْلَمَةٍ أَعْتَقَتِ امْرَأَةً مَسْلَمَةً فَهِيَ فِكَاكُهَا مِنَ النَّارِ عَظْمٌ بِعَظْمٍ»

Translation

✧ The Prophet ﷺ said: "Any Muslim man who frees a Muslim man will be his ransom from the Fire, bone for bone. And any Muslim man who frees two Muslim women will be his ransom from the Fire, two bones of them for a bone of him. And any Muslim woman who frees a Muslim woman will be her ransom from the Fire, bone for bone."
