أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ الْأَحْوَلُ عَنْ طَاوُسٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

مَرَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِرَجُلٍ يَقُودُ رَجُلًا فِي نَذْرٍ فَتَنَاوَلَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَقَطَعَهُ فَقَالَ «إِنَّهُ نَذَرَ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by a man leading another man because of a vow. The Prophet ﷺ took hold of it and cut it, and he said, “He made a vow.”
