✧ Swearing allegiance to a different religion other than Islam

أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ عَنْ خَالِدٍ وَأَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بَزِيعٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ عَنْ ثَابِتِ بْنِ الضَّحَّاكِ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ حَلَفَ بِمِلَّةٍ سِوَى الْإِسْلَامِ كَاذِبًا فَهُوَ كَمَا قَالَ وَمَنْ قَتَلَ نَفْسَهُ بِشَيْءٍ عُذِّبَ بِهِ فِي نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ» وَقَالَ قُتَيْبَةُ فِي حَدِيثِهِ بِشَيْءٍ مُتَعَمِّدًا

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever swears by a religion other than Islam falsely, then he is as he said. And whoever kills himself with something, he will be punished with it in the fire of Hell." Qutaybah said in his narration: "with something intentionally."
