✧ The Dispute Between the Spouses.

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ الْكُوفِيُّ عَنِ ابْنِ فُضَيْلٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ سَمِعْتُ السَّائِبَ بْنَ يَزِيدَ يَقُولُ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «السُّحْتُ ثَلَاثٌ مَهْرُ الْبَغِيِّ وَكَسْبُ الْحَجَّامِ وَثَمَنُ الْكَلْبِ» خَالَفَهُ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَغْرَاءَ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The unlawful earnings are three: the dowry of a prostitute, the earnings of a cupper, and the price of a dog." Abd al-Rahman b. Maghra' disagreed with him.
