✧ The number of Fajr prayers

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ قَالَ سُئِلَ قَتَادَةُ

عَنْ رَجُلٍ صَلَّى رَكْعَةً مِنْ صَلَاةِ الصُّبْحِ ثُمَّ طَلَعَتِ الشَّمْسُ فَقَالَ حَدَّثَنِي خِلَاسُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ أَنُّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةُ حَدَّثَهُ أَنُّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «يُتِمُّ صَلَاتَهُ»

✧ About a man who prayed one rak‘ah of the Subh prayer and then the sun rose, he said: Khilas b. ‘Amr narrated to me from Abu Rafi‘ that Abu Hurayrah narrated to him that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “He completes his prayer.”
