أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ قَالَ أَخَذْتُ بِيَدِ طَاوُسٍ حَتَّى أَدْخَلْتُهُ عَلَى ابْنِ رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ فَحَدَّثَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُ «نَهَى عَنْ كِرَاءِ الْأَرْضِ» فَأَبَى طَاوُسٌ وَقَالَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ لَا يَرَى بِذَلِكَ بَأْسًا قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ رَوَاهُ أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ أَبِي حَصِينٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنْ رَافِعٍ مُرْسَلٌ

✧ On the authority of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that he "forbade renting land." Tawus refused and said: "I heard Ibn 'Abbas say that he saw no harm in that." Abu 'Abd al-Rahman said: "Abu 'Awanah narrated it from Abu Husayn from Mujahid from Rafi' as mursal."
