أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ عَمْرٍو عَنْ عَطَاءٍ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ يَقُولُ مَرَّ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ بِشَاةٍ لِمَيْمُونَةَ مَيِّتَةٍ فَقَالَ «أَلَا أَخَذْتُمْ إِهَابَهَا فَدَبَغْتُمُوهُ فَانْتَفَعْتُمْ بِهِ؟»

✧ I heard Ibn Abbas say: The Prophet ﷺ passed by a dead sheep belonging to Maymunah and said, "Why did you not take its hide and tan it and make use of it?"
