✧ Prayer between Witr and the two Rak'ah of Fajr and mentioning the discrepancy in it.

أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي لَبِيدٍ سَمِعَ أَبَا سَلَمَةَ يَقُولُ سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ

عَنْ صِيَامِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَتْ كَانَ يَصُومُ شَعْبَانَ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا وَسَأَلْتُهَا عَنْ صَلَاةِ اللَّيْلِ؟ فَقَالَتْ كَانَتْ صَلَاتُهُ بِاللَّيْلِ فِي شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ وَغَيْرِهِ ثَلَاثَ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً مِنْهَا رَكْعَتَا الْفَجْرِ

✧ About the fasting of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, she said: “He used to fast Sha‘ban except a little.” And I asked her about the night prayer, and she said: “His prayer at night in the month of Ramadan and other times was thirteen rak‘ahs, including the two rak‘ahs of Fajr.”
