✧ Prayer between Witr and the two Rak'ah of Fajr and mentioning the discrepancy in it.

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي جَعْفَرُ بْنُ رَبِيعَةَ عَنْ عِرَاكِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

«صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الْعِشَاءَ ثُمَّ صَلَّى ثَمَانِ رَكَعَاتٍ قَائِمًا وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ جَالِسًا وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَيْنَ النِّدَاءَيْنِ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ يَدَعُهُمَا» خَالَفَهُمَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيُّ وَعَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَبِي لَبِيدٍ فَرَوَيَاهُ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرَا الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed ‘Isha, then prayed eight rak‘ahs standing, two rak‘ahs sitting, and two rak‘ahs between the two calls, and he never left them.” Sa‘id b. Abi Sa‘id al-Maqburi and ‘Abd Allah b. Abi Labid differed from them, narrating it from Abu Salamah without mentioning the two rak‘ahs.
