✧ The permission of slaughter with Marwah

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا دَاوُدُ عَنْ عَامِرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ صَفْوَانَ

أَنَّهُ أَصَابَ أَرْنَبَيْنِ فَلَمْ يَجِدْ حَدِيدَةً يَذْبَحُهُمَا بِهَا فَذَكَّاهُمَا بِمَرْوَةٍ فَأَتَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنِّي اصْطَدْتُ أَرْنَبَيْنِ فَلَمْ أَجِدْ حَدِيدَةً أُذَكِّيهِمَا بِهَا فَذَكَّيْتُهُمَا بِمَرْوَةٍ أَفَآكُلُ؟ قَالَ «كُلْ»

Translation

✧ He caught two rabbits but could not find a blade to slaughter them with, so he slaughtered them with a white flint. He came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: “O Messenger of Allah, I hunted two rabbits and could not find a blade to slaughter them with, so I slaughtered them with a white flint. May I eat?” He said: “Eat.”
