أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ أَنَّ سَلَمَةَ أَخْبَرَهُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ حُجَيَّةَ بْنَ عَدِيٍّ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ عَلِيًّا قَالَ
«أَمَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ نَسْتَشْرِفَ الْعَيْنَ وَالْأُذُنَ»
