أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَيُّوبُ بْنُ مُوسَى عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ عَنْ شُرَحْبِيلِ بْنِ السِّمْطِ عَنْ سَلْمَانَ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ رَابَطَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ يَوْمًا أَوْ لَيْلَةً كَانَتْ لَهُ كَصِيَامِ شَهْرٍ وَقِيَامِهِ فَإِنْ مَاتَ جَرَى عَلَيْهِ عَمَلُهُ الَّذِي يَعْمَلُ وَأَمِنَ الْفَتَّانَ وَأُجْرِيَ عَلَيْهِ رِزْقُهُ»

✧ I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: “Whoever keeps guard in the path of Allah for a day or a night, it is for him like fasting a month and standing in prayer. If he dies, his work that he used to do continues for him, he is safe from the trial, and his provision is brought to him.”
