✧ The virtue of the garrison

الْحَارِثُ بْنُ مِسْكِينٍ قِرَاءَةً عَلَيْهِ عَنِ ابْنِ وَهْبٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ شُرَيْحِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ شُرَحْبِيلِ بْنِ السِّمْطِ عَنْ سَلْمَانَ الْخَيْرِ

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ رَابَطَ يَوْمًا وَلَيْلَةً فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ كَانَ لَهُ أَجْرُ صِيَامِ شَهْرٍ وَقِيَامِهِ وَمَنْ مَاتَ مُرَابِطًا جَرَى لَهُ مِثْلُ ذَلِكَ الْأَجْرِ وَأُجْرِيَ عَلَيْهِ الرِّزْقُ وَأَمِنَ الْفَتَّانَ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Whoever keeps guard for a day and a night in the path of Allah has the reward of fasting a month and standing in prayer. Whoever dies while keeping guard, the like of that reward flows for him, provision is brought to him, and he is safe from the trial.”
