✧ The obligation of jihad.

أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى وَالْحَارِثُ بْنُ مِسْكِينٍ قِرَاءَةً عَلَيْهِ وَأَنَا أَسْمَعُ عَنِ ابْنِ وَهْبٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ الْمُسَيِّبِ أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ

أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أُقَاتِلَ النَّاسَ حَتَّى يَقُولُوا لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ فَمَنْ قَالَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ عَصَمَ مِنِّي مَالَهُ وَنَفْسَهُ إِلَّا بِحَقِّهِ وَحِسَابُهُ عَلَى اللهِ

✧ He informed him that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "I have been commanded to fight the people until they say 'There is no god but Allah.' So whoever says 'There is no god but Allah' has protected his wealth and his life from me, except for what is due from it, and his reckoning is with Allah."
