أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ الْمُقْرِئُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ صَالِحٍ عَنْ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا قَفَلَ مِنْ حَجٍّ أَوْ عُمْرَةٍ أَوْ غَزْوٍ فَأَوْفَى عَلَى فَدْفَدٍ مِنَ الْأَرْضِ قَالَ «لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ آيِبُونَ تَائِبُونَ عَابِدُونَ لِرَبِّنَا سَاجِدُونَ صَدَقَ اللهُ وَعْدَهُ وَنَصَرَ عَبْدَهُ وَهَزَمَ الْأَحْزَابَ وَحْدَهُ»

✧ When the Messenger of God ﷺ returned from ḥajj or ʿumrah or a military expedition and ascended a high point of the land, he would say: “There is no god but God alone, with no partner. His is the dominion and His is the praise, and He is capable of everything. Returning, repenting, worshiping, prostrating to our Lord. God has been true to His promise, helped His servant, and defeated the confederates alone.”
