أَخْبَرَنَا أَيُّوبُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْوَزَّانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَفْلَحُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرٍ أَنَّ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ عَامَ حَجَّ جَمَعَ أُنَاسًا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ فِيهِمْ عُمَرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ وَخَارِجَةُ بْنُ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ وَالْقَاسِمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ وَسَالِمٌ وَعَبْدُ اللهِ ابْنَا عَبْدِ اللهِ وَابْنُ شِهَابٍ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ فَسَأَلَهُمْ عَنِ الطِّيبِ قَبْلَ الْإِفَاضَةِ فَكُلُّهُمْ أَمَرَهُ بِالطِّيبِ وَقَالَ الْقَاسِمُ أَخْبَرْتِنِي عَائِشَةُ
أَنَّهَا «طَيَّبَتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ لِحَرَمِهِ حِينَ أَحْرَمَ وَلِحِلِّهِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَطُوفَ بِالْبَيْتِ» وَلَمْ يَخْتَلِفْ عَلَيْهِ أَحَدٌ مِنْهُمْ إِلَّا أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ كَانَ عَبْدُ اللهِ رَجُلًا جَادًّا مُجِدًّا كَانَ يَرْمِي الْجَمْرَةَ ثُمَّ يَذْبَحُ ثُمَّ يَحْلِقُ ثُمَّ يَرْكَبُ فَيُفِيضُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَأْتِيَ مَنْزِلَهُ قَالَ سَالِمٌ صَدَقَ

✧ She perfumed the Messenger of Allah ﷺ for his ihram when he entered ihram, and for his release from ihram before he circumambulated the House. None of them differed from him except that Abd Allah b. Abd Allah said: Abdullah was a serious, diligent man. He would throw the pebbles, then slaughter, then shave, then mount and make the ifadah before coming to his house. Salim said: He spoke the truth.
