أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَطَاءٌ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ جَابِرًا قَالَ
كُنَّا لَا نَأْكُلُ مِنْ لُحُومِ بُدْنِنَا إِلَّا ثَلَاثًا «فَأَذِنَ لَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَأَكَلْنَا وَتَزَوَّدْنَا» قُلْتُ قَالَ جَابِرٌ حَتَّى رَجَعْنَا إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ قَالَ لَا
Translation

✧ We used not to eat from the meat of our sacrificial camels except for three days. "Then the Messenger of God ﷺ permitted us, so we ate and took provision." I said: Did Jabir say until we returned to Madinah? He said: No.
