✧ Time for shaving

أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ رَمَى جَمْرَةَ الْعَقَبَةِ ثُمَّ انْصَرَفَ إِلَى الْبُدْنِ فَنَحَرَهَا وَالْحَلَّاقُ جَالِسٌ فَأَوْمَأَ إِلَى رَأْسِهِ فَقَالَ «احْلِقْ» فَحَلَقَ شِقَّهَ الْأَيْمَنَ فَقَسَمَهُ فِيمَنْ يَلِيهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ «احْلِقِ الشِّقَّ الْآخَرَ» فَحَلَقَهُ فَقَالَ أَيْنَ أَبُو طَلْحَةَ فَنَاوَلَهُ إِيَّاهُ

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stoned Jamrat al-ʿAqabah, then went to the camels and slaughtered them. The barber was sitting, and he gestured to his head and said: “Shave.” So he shaved the right side, and he distributed it among those near him. Then he said: “Shave the other side.” So he shaved it. Then he said: “Where is Abu Talhah?” and handed it to him.
