أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا قُرَّةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ وَرَجُلٌ أَفْضَلُ فِي نَفْسِي مِنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ حُمَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ كِلَاهُمَا عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ قَالَ
خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ فَقَالَ «إِنَّ دِمَاءَكُمْ وَأَمْوَالَكُمْ بَيْنَكُمْ حَرَامٌ كَحُرْمَةِ يَوْمِكُمْ هَذَا فِي شَهْرِكُمْ هَذَا فِي بَلَدِكُمْ هَذَا إِلَى يَوْمِ تَلْقَوْنَ رَبِّكُمْ أَلَا هَلْ بَلَّغْتُ؟» قَالُوا نَعَمْ قَالَ «اللهُمَّ اشْهَدْ» يُبَلِّغُ الشَّاهِدُ مِنْكُمُ الْغَائِبَ فَرُبَّ مُبَلَّغٍ أَوْعَى مِنْ سَامِعٍ أَلَا لَا تَرْجِعُنَّ بَعْدِي كُفَّارًا يَضْرِبُ بَعْضُكُمْ رِقَابَ بَعْضٍ
Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave us a sermon on the Day of Sacrifice and said: 'Indeed your blood and your wealth are sacred to one another, like the sanctity of this day of yours, in this month of yours, in this land of yours, until the day you meet your Lord. Have I conveyed?' They said: Yes. He said: 'O Allah, bear witness.' Let the one who is present convey to the one who is absent, for perhaps one who is conveyed to is more attentive than one who hears. Indeed, do not return after me as disbelievers, striking one another's necks.
