✧ The Differences among the Narrators regarding the News of Abdullah b. Abbas on the Method of the Prophet's ﷺ Night Prayer.

أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ يَزِيدَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي الْحَكَمُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ جُبَيْرٍ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسِ قَالَ

بِتُّ فِي بَيْتِ خَالَتِي مَيْمُونَةَ فَصَلَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الْعِشَاءَ ثُمَّ جَاءَ فَصَلَّى أَرْبَعًا ثُمَّ نَامَ ثُمَّ قَامَ فَتَوَضَّأَ قَالَ لَا أَحْفَظُ وُضُوءَهُ ثُمَّ قَامَ فَصَلَّى فَقُمْتُ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ فَجَعَلَنِي عَنْ يَمِينِهِ ثُمَّ صَلَّى خَمْسَ رَكَعَاتٍ ثُمَّ رَكْعَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ نَامَ ثُمَّ صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ خَرَجَ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ

✧ I spent the night in the house of my maternal aunt Maymunah. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed Isha, then came and prayed four rak'ahs, then slept. Then he got up and performed wudu. He said: I do not remember his wudu. Then he stood and prayed. I stood on his left, and he placed me on his right. Then he prayed five rak'ahs, then two, then slept. Then he prayed two rak'ahs, then went out for the prayer.
