أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ أَبُو قُدَامَةَ السَّرَخْسِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى هُوَ الْقَطَّانُ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ عَنِ أَبِي مَعْبَدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لِلنَّاسِ حِينَ دَفَعُوا عَشِيَّةَ عَرَفَةَ وَغَدَاةَ جَمْعٍ عَلَيْكُمُ السَّكِينَةَ وَهُوَ كَافٌّ نَاقَتَهُ حَتَّى إِذَا دَخَلَ مِنًى حِينَ هَبَطَ مُحَسِّرًا قَالَ «عَلَيْكُمْ بِحَصَى الْخَذْفِ الَّذِي تُرْمَى بِهِ الْجَمْرَةُ» قَالَ وَالنَّبِيُّ ﷺ يُشِيرُ بِيَدِهِ كَمَا يَخْذِفُ الْإِنْسَانُ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to the people when they moved on from the evening of Arafah and the morning of Jam': “Upon you is tranquility,” while he was holding back his she-camel, until when he entered Mina, when he descended into Muhassir, he said: “Upon you are the small pebbles of throwing, with which the Jamrah is thrown.” He said: And the Prophet ﷺ was gesturing with his hand as a person throws pebbles.
