أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ أَبِي مَعْبَدٍ مَوْلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ وَكَانَ رَدِيفَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ فِي عَشِيَّةِ عَرَفَةَ وَغَدَاةَ جَمْعٍ لِلنَّاسِ حِينَ دَفَعُوا «عَلَيْكُمُ السَّكِينَةَ» وَهُوَ كَافٍ نَاقَتَهُ حَتَّى إِذَا دَخَلَ مُحَسِّرًا وَهُوَ مِنْ مِنًى قَالَ «عَلَيْكُمْ بِحَصَى الْخَذْفِ الَّذِي تُرْمَى بِهِ الْجَمْرَةُ» وَلَمْ يَزَلْ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُلَبِّي حَتَّى رَمَى الْجَمْرَةَ

✧ From al-Fadl b. Abbas, who was riding behind the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to the people on the evening of Arafah and the morning of Jam' when they moved on: “Upon you is tranquility,” while he was holding back his she-camel, until when he entered Muhassir, which is part of Mina, he said, “Upon you are the small pebbles of throwing, with which the Jamrah is thrown.” And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not cease reciting the talbiyah until he threw the Jamrah.
