أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَمْرٍو عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

أَضْلَلْتُ بَعِيرًا لِي فَذَهَبْتُ أَطْلُبُهُ بِعَرَفَةَ يَوْمَ عَرَفَةَ فَرَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَاقِفًا فَقُلْتُ مَا شَأْنُ هَذَا إِنَّمَا هَذَا مِنَ الْحُمْسِ

Translation

  3. ʿAmr
  4. Muḥammad b. Jubayr b. Muṭʿim from his father

✧ I lost a camel of mine, so I went looking for it at Arafah on the Day of Arafah, and I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ standing. I said, 'What is the matter with him? He is only one of the Hums.'
