✧ The Differences among the Narrators regarding the News of Abdullah b. Abbas on the Method of the Prophet's ﷺ Night Prayer.

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ ابْنِ طَاوُسٍ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

بِتُّ فِي بَيْتِ مَيْمُونَةَ فَقَامَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يُصَلِّي مِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَقُمْتُ مَعَهُ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ فَأَخَذَ بِيَدِي فَجَعَلَنِي عَنْ يَمِينِهِ ثُمَّ صَلَّى ثَلَاثَ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً حَزَرْتُ قَدْرَ قِيَامِهِ فِي كُلِّ رَكْعَةٍ {يَا أَيُّهَا الْمُزَّمِّلُ} [المزمل 1]

✧ I spent the night in Maymunah's house. The Prophet ﷺ got up to pray at night, and I got up with him on his left. He took my hand and placed me on his right. Then he prayed thirteen rak'ahs. I estimated the length of his standing in each rak'ah to be about the length of reciting {O you wrapped in garments} [Quran 73:1].
