✧ Prohibition of Fasting on the Day of Arafah at Arafah

أَخْبَرَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ فَضَالَةَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ النَّسَائِيُّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ هُوَ ابْنُ يَزِيدَ الْمُقْرِئُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى هُوَ ابْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبِي يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّ يَوْمَ عَرَفَةَ وَيَوْمَ النَّحْرِ وَأَيَّامَ التَّشْرِيقِ عِيدُنَا أَهْلَ الْإِسْلَامِ وَهِيَ أَيَّامُ أَكْلٍ وَشُرْبٍ»

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ said: 'The Day of 'Arafah, the Day of Sacrifice, and the days of Tashriq are our festival, O people of Islam, and they are days of eating and drinking.'
