أَخْبَرَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ هَارُونَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَاتِمٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ دَخَلْنَا عَلَى جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ فَقُلْتُ لَهُ

أَخْبِرْنِي عَنْ حَجَّةِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ أَمَرَ بِقُبَّةٍ لَهُ مِنْ شَعْرٍ فَضُرِبَتْ لَهُ بِنَمِرَةَ فَسَارَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَلَا تَشُكُّ قُرَيْشٌ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ وَاقِفٌ عِنْدَ الْمَشْعَرِ الْحَرَامِ كَمَا كَانَتْ قُرَيْشٌ تَصْنَعُ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ «فَجَازَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ حَتَّى أَتَى عَرَفَةَ فَوَجَدَ الْقُبَّةَ قَدْ ضُرِبَتْ لَهُ بِنَمِرَةَ فَنَزَلَ بِهَا»

✧ He informed me about the Hajj of the Prophet ﷺ. He said: 'He ordered a tent of hair for himself, and it was pitched for him at Namirah. The Messenger of God ﷺ then proceeded, and Quraysh had no doubt that he would stand at al-Mash'ar al-Haram, as Quraysh used to do in the pre-Islamic era. But the Messenger of God ﷺ passed on until he came to 'Arafah, where he found the tent pitched for him at Namirah, and he dismounted there.'
