أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّوْرَقِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا جَابِرٌ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «نَزَلَ يَعْنِي عَنِ الصَّفَا حَتَّى إِذَا انْصَبَّتْ قَدَمَاهُ فِي بَطْنِ الْوَادِي رَمَلَ حَتَّى إِذَا صَعِدَ مَشَى»

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ descended, meaning from Safa, until his feet reached the bottom of the valley, then he walked quickly until, when he ascended, he walked.
