✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ circumambulated the House seven times, going at a fast pace (ramal) in three of them and walking in four. Then he stood at the Maqam and prayed two rakʿahs, reciting: And take the station of Ibrahim as a place of prayer. He raised his voice so the people could hear. Then he left, touched the corner, and went, saying: "We begin with what Allah began with." So he began with al-Safa and climbed it until the House became visible to him. He said three times: There is no god but Allah alone, with no partner. His is the dominion and His is the praise. He gives life and causes death, and He has power over all things. Then he said the takbir and praised Allah, then he supplicated as much as was decreed for him. Then he descended walking until his feet reached the bottom of the valley, then he hastened until his feet ascended, then he walked until he came to al-Marwah and climbed it. Then the House became visible to him and he said: There is no god but Allah alone, with no partner. His is the dominion and His is the praise, and He has power over all things. He said that three times, then he remembered Allah, glorified Him, and praised Him, then he supplicated as Allah willed. He did this until he finished the tawaf.
