أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْبَصْرِيُّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَمْرٍو قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا زُهَيْرٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُعَاوِيَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ عُقْبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي نَافِعٌ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ حَدَّثَهُ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «كَانَ يَنْزِلُ بِذِي طُوًى يَلْبَثُ بِهِ حَتَّى يُصَلِّيَ صَلَاةَ الصُّبْحِ حِينَ يَقْدُمَ إِلَى مَكَّةَ وَمُصَلَّى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ ذَلِكَ عَلَى أَكَمَةٍ غَلِيظَةٍ وَلَيْسَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ الَّذِي بُنِيَ ثَمَّ وَلَكِنْ أَسْفَلَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ عَلَى أَكَمَةٍ خَشِنَةٍ غَلِيظَةٍ»

✧ That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to stop at Dhu Tuwa and stay there until he prayed the morning prayer when he arrived at Makkah, and the place where the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed was upon a rough hillock, not in the mosque that was built there, but lower than that, upon a rugged, rough hillock.
