✧ Killing the Crow

أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّوْرَقِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ بُشَيْرٍ وَاسِطِيٌّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ سُئِلَ مَا يَقْتُلُ الْمُحْرِمُ مِنَ الدَّوَابِّ؟ قَالَ «يَقْتُلُ الْعَقْرَبَ وَالْفُوَيْسِقَةَ وَالْحِدَأَةَ وَالْغُرَابَ وَالْكَلْبَ الْعَقُورَ»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ was asked what animals a pilgrim in ihram may kill. He said: "He may kill the scorpion, the small mouse, the kite, the crow, and the biting dog."
