✧ What is not permitted for the forbidden person to eat from the hunting?

أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنِ الصَّعْبِ بْنِ جَثَّامَةَ اللَّيْثِيِّ

أَنَّهُ أَهْدَى لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ حِمَارَ وَحْشٍ وَهُوَ بِالْأَبْوَاءِ أَوْ بِوَدَّانَ فَرَدَّهُ عَلَيْهِ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَلَمَّا رَأَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَا فِي وَجْهِي قَالَ «إِنَّا لَمْ نَرُدَّهُ عَلَيْكَ إِلَّا أَنَّا حُرُمٌ»

✧ He had given a wild donkey as a gift to the Messenger of God ﷺ while he was at al-Abwa or Waddan, and the Messenger of God ﷺ returned it to him. When the Messenger of God ﷺ saw the look on my face, he said: “We did not return it to you except because we are in ihram.”
