أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ أَبُو قُدَامَةَ السَّرَخْسِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ هِشَامٍ الدَّسْتُوَائِيَّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَبِي حَسَّانَ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ لَمَّا أَتَى ذَا الْحُلَيْفَةِ «أَشْعَرَ الْهَدْيَ فِي جَانِبِ السَّنَامِ الْأَيْمَنِ ثُمَّ أَمَاطَ عَنْهُ الدَّمَ وَقَلَّدَهُ نَعْلَيْنِ ثُمَّ رَكِبَ نَاقَتَهُ فَلَمَّا اسْتَوَتْ بِهِ عَلَى الْبَيْدَاءِ لَبَّى وَأَحْرَمَ عِنْدَ الظُّهْرِ وَأَهَلَّ بِالْحَجِّ»

✧ When the Prophet ﷺ came to Dhul-Hulayfah, he marked the sacrificial animal on the right side of the hump, then wiped the blood from it, and garlanded it with two sandals, then mounted his she-camel, and when it stood upright with him on the desert plain, he uttered the talbiyah and entered iḥrām at noon, and declared the Ḥajj.
