أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْبَصْرِيُّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

«كُنْتُ أُطَيِّبُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ بِأَطْيَبِ مَا كُنْتُ أَجِدُ مِنَ الطِّيبِ حَتَّى أَرَى وَبِيصَ الطِّيبِ فِي رَأْسِهِ وَلِحْيَتِهِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُحْرِمَ»

✧ I used to perfume the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with the best perfume I could find until I would see the glisten of the perfume on his head and beard before he entered ihram.
