أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ وَهَنَّادُ بْنُ السَّرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «إِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يُحْرِمَ ادَّهَنَ بِأَطْيَبِ دُهْنٍ يَجِدُهُ حَتَّى أَرَى وَبِيصَهُ فِي رَأْسِهِ وَلِحْيَتِهِ» تَابَعَهُ إِسْرَائِيلُ عَلَى هَذَا الْكَلَامِ وَقَالَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

Translation

✧ When the Prophet ﷺ intended to enter ihram, he would anoint himself with the best oil he could find until I would see its glisten on his head and beard. Isra'il followed him in this wording and said: from 'Abd al-Rahman b. al-Aswad, from his father.
